OneNote for Mac uses the 11-point Calibri font for new notes you create, but you can easily change this default formatting to suit your needs.

  1. On the top menu bar, click OneNote, and then click Preferences.

  2. In the OneNote Preferences dialog box that opens, click Edit & View.

  3. Under Default font, select the Font and Size that you want OneNote to use.

Notes:

  • Your new default font and size choices apply only to new notes that you’ll write from now on. Existing notes won’t be reformatted automatically.

  • You cannot change the formatting of existing notes automatically by changing styles.

  • Changing the default font size applies to note text only — not to page titles.
