Although the most common calendar intervals are 15 minutes and 30 minutes, you can also change the time scale interval of your calendar to 5, 6, 10, or 60 minutes.

Important: Steps may be different between new and classic Outlook for Windows. To determine which version of Outlook you're using, look for File on the ribbon. If there's no File option, follow the steps under the New Outlook tab. If the File option appears, select the tab for Classic Outlook.

To change the time scale interval of your calendar:

  1. In the calendar, on the View tab, select Calendar settings.

  2. Select Calendar > View.

  3. Under Calendar appearance, select the grid interval from the drop-down under Time Scale.

In Calendar, on the View tab, in the Arrangement group, click Time Scale, and then click the grid interval that you want to show in the calendar.
