If you forgot your password, go the password reset page. Otherwise, follow the instructions below.
In Outlook.com, select your name or profile picture at the top of the page, and then select View account.
On the left side of the page, select Change password.
Note: As a security measure, you might be prompted to verify your identity with a security code. If so, decide if you want to receive the security code by email or phone, verify your email address or the last four digits of your phone number, and then select Send code. When you receive the code, enter it and select Submit.
Enter your current password, enter your new password, reenter your new password, and then select Next.
