Call a Lync contact
To call a contact on Lync, from the contacts screen, do one of the following:

Find the person in your Contacts list, tap their name, and then tap the Phone icon.

Or, type the contact’s name in the search box. When you find the contact, tap the contact’s name to open their contact card, and then tap the Phone icon.
Depending on how you set your VoIP call options, when you make a call it could use Wi-Fi or your cellular data plan. For more information, go to Adjust your data use settings.
Add someone to a call
Tap the More icon (…), tap Invite others, start typing the name or phone number of the person you want to invite, and tap the listing when it comes up.
Transfer a call
Tap the More icon (…), tap Transfer, start typing the name or phone number of the person you want to transfer the call to, and tap the listing when it comes up.
