Available in Microsoft Office Accounting Professional 2009 and Microsoft Office Accounting Standard 2009 only.
If you are tracking your company transactions by class, you can use the Budget for Profit and Loss by Class report to compare the budgeted amounts to actual amounts over a selected time period.
Open the report
On the Reports menu, point to Company and Financial, and then click Budget for Profit and Loss by Class.
Note: This report is available only if you select Use classes in the Preferences dialog box.
Default information in this report includes budgeted and actual amounts and variances. To change column options, do the following:
On the toolbar, click Modify Report, and then in the Modify Report pane, select or clear the appropriate Columns options.
View different budgets
If you have created multiple budgets, you can view them from this report.
On the toolbar, click the arrow next to Budget, and then select a budget.
Change date range
To change the date range for this report, fo the following:
On the toolbar, click the arrow next to Date Range, From, or To.
