Use this dialog box to specify an existing contact object instead of creating a new Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) contact object under the Office Communications Server global settings container for this conference call phone number. For example, if you do not have permission to create new Active Directory objects under the Office Communications Server global settings container, you can use an existing contact object that was created for Conferencing Attendant by another administrator.
Note: Administrators in organizations that do not permit users and contacts to exist in the Configuration container can use this setting.
Important: If you want to use an existing contact object, you must have read/write permissions to the organizational unit (OU) that contains the contact object. To specify this advanced setting, you must first delegate permissions to the RTCUniversalServerAdmins group.
Specify an Active Directory Contact object
To specify an existing Active Directory contact object, select this check box, and then type the distinguished name (DN) of the contact object that you want to use with this conference call phone number.
