Add or Edit Conferencing Attendant Number

Use this dialog box to add or edit a phone number that users can dial to join a dial-in conference.

Note: Any phone number that is used by Conferencing Attendant must also be configured as a direct inward dial (DID) number on your organization's media gateway. For details, see documentation provided by the gateway manufacturer.

Display number

Type the conference call phone number that public switched telephone network (PSTN) phone users can dial to join a conference.

Display name

Type the name or number that will be associated with this conference call phone number in Office Communicator search results.

Line URI

Type the E.164 number of the conference call phone number in TEL URI format, including the + symbol before the number and excluding spaces. For example, tel:+14255550200.

SIP URI

Type a SIP user name and domain to specify a unique SIP URI for this Conferencing Attendant access phone number. This SIP URI will be displayed in various locations including, but not limited to, call notification messages and in previous versions of Communicator clients.

Note: If you prefer, you can use the automatically generated SIP URI.

Advanced

Click to specify an existing contact object instead of creating a new Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) contact object for the specified conference call phone number.

Note:  If you want to use an existing contact object, you must have read/write permissions to the organizational unit (OU) that contains the contact object. To specify this advanced setting, you must delegate permissions to the RTCUniversalServerAdmins group.

Serviced by Pool

In the drop-down list, click the pool or server that is running the instance of Conferencing Attendant that will support this conference call phone number.

Language Settings

Specify the primary and secondary languages in which prompts will be played for callers to this conference call phone number.

Primary language

In the drop-down list, click the default language to use to play prompts for callers to this conference call phone number.

Secondary languages (max. 4)

The secondary languages in which prompts will be played.

Add

Click to specify a secondary language in which prompts will be played.

Delete

Click to stop playing prompts in the selected secondary language.
