Add a shadow to text

Do one of the following:

Add a shadow to or remove a shadow from text in a text box

  1. Select the text you want to change.

  2. On the Format menu, click Font.

  3. Under Effects, click Shadow.

Add a shadow to or remove a shadow from all of the text in a text box

  1. Click in the text box that you want to change.

  2. Press CTRL+A.

  3. On the Format menu, click Font.

  4. Under Effects, click Shadow.

Insert WordArt with a shadow

  1. On the Objects toolbar, click Insert WordArt Button image .

  2. In the WordArt Gallery, click the WordArt with the shadow effect that you want, and then click OK.

  3. In the Edit WordArt Text dialog box, type the text you want, and then select any options you want.

Note: You can also add a shadow to WordArt by selecting the WordArt that you want to change, and then clicking Shadow Style Button image on the Formatting toolbar.
