The Document Map provides a quick way to move around in a document that contains headings.

On the View menu, click Draft, Web Layout, Outline, or Print Layout.

On the View menu, point to Sidebar, and then click Navigation.

On the Document Map tab, click the heading that you want to view in the document.
The cursor moves to the selected heading in the document.
Tip: To set the number of heading levels that are displayed in the Document Map, hold down CONTROL and click any heading. Then on the shortcut menu, click the highest number for the maximum number of heading levels that you want to display.

On the View menu, click Draft, Web Layout, Outline, or Print Layout.

In the Document Map, click the heading that you want to view in the document.
The cursor moves to the selected heading in the document.
