After you insert WordArt, you can easily change the shape of it by changing the fancy formatting of your text.

  1. Click the WordArt you want to change.

    Selected WordArt

When you do that, the Drawing Tools Format tab will appear.

  2. On the Drawing Tools Format tab, click Text Effects >Transform, and then select the effect you want.

Important: The Text Effects Text Effects menu button menu is not the same as the Shape Effects Shape Effects menu button menu. If you don't see Transform at the bottom of the menu, make sure you've clicked the Text Effects menu.

Tip: You can also change the look of your WordArt by rotating or flipping it, or resizing it.

  2. When you do that, the Shape Format tab appears. Click Text Effects >Transform and pick the effect you want.
