Clip Organizer can't locate my clip
The location of the file may have changed. You may have moved or removed the file, or changed your hardware configuration.
When the Microsoft Clip Organizer dialog box appears:

If you know the new location of the file, click Browse and browse to the new location of the clip.

If the clip is gone and you wish to remove the preview of this clip from Clip Organizer, click Remove Thumbnail.
I get an error message that Clip Organizer can't complete the operation
It's possible to receive an message that Clip Organizer can't complete the operation, when you click Search or try to insert a picture, but can click through the collections and type in a search.
You may have lost your connection with the Clip Organizer database. Try one of the following:

If you are in the Insert Picture task pane in an Office product, close the task pane and then re-open it.

If you are using the stand-alone version of Clip Organizer, on the File menu, click Exit, and then start Clip Organizer again.
